Indigenous Eyes Ecological Reserve

Indigenous Eyes Ecological Reserve

Located within the exclusive Punta Cana Resort & Club complex, this 1,500-hectare nature reserve and ecological park is open to the public for a small entrance fee, so you can enjoy its trails that take you into a lush tropical forest until you reach a series of twelve freshwater lagoons. You can swim in most of them surrounded by spectacular scenery. The most popular swimming lagoon has a small wooden deck and platform for those who want to dive into the cool turquoise waters. Besides the abundant flora, the reserve is also home to hundreds of species of birds and iguanas. Combine your trip here with a visit to the nearby Puntacana Ecological Foundation, where you can see their beekeeping and worm composting projects.
